Band of Holy Joy to play B&G!

posted 6 Jan 2011, 05:27 by Piers Miller

What-ho folks, it's a dreary, rainy afternoon in post-festive Camden Town but lo! What light from yonder venue breaks?
Tomorrow (Friday) night at The Bull & Gate, Kentish Town as part of Pandamonium, the 17th birthday celebrations of the wonderful record label Fierce Panda, we're proud to present THE BAND OF HOLY JOY + THE BITTER SPRINGS + ANDREW CLARKE.

Kick off is around 8pm and its £8 in advance or £10 on the door. I'm extremely excited about this gig, but I won't use up your day with blather.
Here's a quote from Simon at Fierce Panda and some links for you to peruse: "Band of Holy Joy were kicking up a rowdy, wordy pop storm on Rough Trade when Arcade Fire were still in diapers and age has not withered them. Nor has it hampered Bitter Springs, who were earning Singles Of The Week in NME in 1995 for their ragged, rugged indie shenanigans."
Hope to see you out there!
